[EEA.ETH Members] Q1 2025 "Ethereum is Open for Business"

The EEA is showing receipts ๐Ÿค

Enterprise Ethereum Alliance | Q1 2025

โ€œWelcome to the first EEA members newsletter.
2025 is a pivotal year for Ethereum and crypto, with the Ethereum scaling roadmap showing results. Institutions and enterprises are increasingly viewing blockchain and Ethereum as production-ready ecosystem.
Ethereum hosts nearly 60% of all DeFi value and 80% of real-world assets activity. Innovations in zk and cryptography now enable privacy on public permissionless networks, eliminating the need for private blockchains.
This is the โ€œGolden Age of Crypto,โ€ and while Ethereum is the leader, we at the EEA know we need to double our efforts to increase institutional and enterprise adoption.
If you believe in this too, you are in the right place, the EEA is here to champion your success and show the world that Ethereum is open for business.โ€

Q1: Key Events & Activities

๐Ÿ“ January โ€“ New York Launch

  • We started the year strong with our first EEA event in NYC, hosted by Microsoft. The panel on DeFi featured Arche Capital and brought together the NYC Ethereum and business community, including EF, Arbitrum/Offchain Labs, Consensys, Kiln, Gaia, and NYU Blockchain, with about 70 participants.
    ๐ŸŽฅ Event Recap

  • Redwan and Vivek from Etherealize met and immediately aligned on a common vision: "Ethereum is open for business." Etherealize was eager to join the EEA. Our missions are closely aligned: the EEA is a neutral nonprofit promoting Ethereum to businesses, while Etherealize focuses on building products centered on $ETH and Wall Street.
