Stable Gathering NYC

This month, the EEA partnered with Stable Summit and Microsoft for the latest edition of Stable Gathering, a bi-monthly series that bridges TradFi and DeFi conversations as New York City grows into the global hub for stablecoins.

Hosted at Microsoft’s SoHo office, the event featured two panels:

The conversation reflected a clear trend: stablecoins and RWAs are shaping how institutions approach settlement, compliance, and innovation. Stunned by the participation with strong and diverse voices across the stablecoin and enterprise ecosystem.

EEA Executive Dinner in NYC

In parallel, the EEA hosted a private executive dinner in New York’s Lower East Side - an intimate evening of cocktails, food, and curated conversation among 35 leaders from Ethereum, DeFi, and traditional finance with attendees including executives from Aave, Celo, zkSync, Consensys, DTCC, BlackRock, Moody’s, and others.

Incredible relationships being built with valuable space for strategic dialogue across the institutional and Ethereum ecosystems.

At Sibos Frankfurt, the EEA and EY co-hosted Stablecoins in Business Payments: Seizing the Strategic Edge, a side event that brought together financial institutions and policy leaders to explore how stablecoin infrastructure can modernize global payments.

Featuring speakers from JP Morgan, Fnality, Linea, and Applied Blockchain, the conversation highlighted how enterprises are moving beyond pilots toward production on public Ethereum.

Sibos Opening Panel: Public vs Private Blockchains

Redwan Meslem joined Citi, the Linux Foundation, and Applied Blockchain on the opening Sibos panel to discuss the future of enterprise blockchain infrastructure.

The discussion reframed the debate around public versus private networks, emphasizing that open systems offer liquidity, neutrality, and resilience.

At Token2049 this year, with EY, the EEA hosted Beyond Pilots: Banks’ Next Wave on Public Ethereum, continuing the global conversation on open financial systems.

Moderated by Krzysztof Urbanski (L2Beat), and with speakers from OKX, ZKsync, Green Link Digital Bank, and Banking Circle discussed how institutions are adopting public infrastructure to enable liquidity, transparency, and resilience across markets.
